On May 23rd, the Park Lane Student Film Festival brought together students, teachers, families, and film enthusiasts for an inspiring and vibrant afternoon celebrating young filmmaking talent. Guests enjoyed the screening of 31 student films, representing a wide range of genres, styles, and creative approaches.

The festival was not only about film screenings but also about community. Attendees had the opportunity to connect, share ideas, and enjoy food and drinks in a welcoming, cultural atmosphere. The event was further enriched by guest speakers, whose thoughtful and motivating contributions added depth and inspiration to the programme.

While awards were presented, the true highlight was the creativity and dedication shown by all participating filmmakers. A special congratulations goes to Archie, winner of the Audience Award. Recognition also goes to Vojta for his strong contribution, as well as to the Year 10 team – Šimon, Emiliia, Charles, Emilie, and Oliver, who successfully completed the demanding 24-hour film challenge, showcasing teamwork, resilience, and creative skill.

We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Amirouche and everyone involved in organising the festival. Their commitment made the event a memorable success and a true celebration of student creativity.
